Fresh Guacamole

Makes 4 servings Prep Time 10 mins Total Time 10 mins

2 large ripe avocados

2 tsps fresh lime juice (plus more to taste)

¼ cup finely chopped white or red onion

2 Tbsps chopped fresh cilantro

½ tsp sea salt

¼ tsp ground cumin (optional)

1 Roma tomato, seeds removed and chopped (optional)


Quarter the avocados, then remove the pits and peel. Place the avocado flesh in a large bowl. 

Mash the avocados with a fork to your desired consistency.

Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl. Stir to combine. Taste and adjust ingredients as needed. 

Guacamole tastes best chilled, so refrigerate for 20 minutes before serving. This time allows the flavours to blend. Serve with tortilla chips, fresh vegetables.
