Mini Bagels


Makes 4-5 bagels Prep Time 10 mins Total Time 35 mins

Macros: 121cal, Gats 0g, Carbs 22g, Protein 7g, Fibre 1g

Ingredients:

To make 1 cup self-rising flour, sift together the following:

1 cup flour

1 ½ tsps baking powder

½ tsp salt

To make the bagels:

1 cup self-rising flour (recipe above)

1 cup 0% plain greek yogurt

1 egg for egg wash

(Seasonings of choice: everything bagel seasoning, cinnamon & raisin, parmesan cheese, herbs & spices, etc.)


Directions:

Preheat oven to 350०F

Combine 1 cup of self-rising flour and 1 cup of 0% greek yogurt in a bowl until a dough starts to form. 

Turn dough on a lightly floured surface and bruch your hands with a bit of flour

Knead and divide into 4 parts.

Roll out each dough ball to form a rope and pinch the ends of each rope together to make a circle. You will have 4 bagels.

Beat one egg and brush over bagels and sprinkle with bagel seasoning of choice.

Bake at 350०F on a pan sprayed with cooking oil spray or covered with parchment paper, for 23 minutes and 500०F for 2 minutes so the tops can brown.

This dough recipe can be used to make mini pizzas, cinnamon buns or flavoured bagels of choice. Macros will vary when adding seasonings, dried fruits, etc.
